Craig Ritchie, DVM
Dr. Ritchie
graduated from Ohio State University where he received his B.S and D.V.M.. He
joined Companion in 1994 as the hospital director, and purchased the hospital
from Dr. Gary Ade in August 2006.
His areas of special interest as a
veterinarian include ophthalmology and internal medicine. He currently has
three pets; “Sir Clage” is his grey tabby, and was adopted as a rescue patient

who chases him around the house, and “Keara” his Border Collie, who joins him
on his daily adventures at work.

Pam Meier, DVM
Dr.
Meier with Emme the cat & Ivy the dog
Dr. Pam Meier
was raised in California and Colorado, and moved to the Seattle area after
receiving her BA in Sociology and Art at the University of Virginia. Her first
exposure to veterinary medicine was as a receptionist at the original Companion
Animal Hospital, just down the street from its current location. She proceeded
to complete her studies at Colorado State University, receiving a BS in Biology
as well as her DVM. Having fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest, Pam
returned in 2000 to Companion Animal Hospital as an associate.
Her free time
is often dedicated to her home, garden, and her four legged housemates,
including 4 cats (Mister, Nutmeg, Emme, and Monkey Biscuit) and Ivy, a very
excitable terrier mix, who presented to CAH as an orphan with a broken tibia
after being hit by a car. When given the chance, Pam likes to try out new
restaurants, go to the movies, and explore new countries.
