Angie Rouse, Lead Veterinary Technician

Angie is a local girl, growing up in Bellevue and attending Newport High School, and Bellevue Community College.  She joined Companion in 1995 as a veterinary assistant, and through continuing education and training became a Veterinary Technician.

In mid- 2008 Angie took on the challenging role of leading the tech department along with her follow Lead Technicians, Dana and Jen. Angie is currently studying to take the national boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Angie lives in Bellevue with her husband Craig, and her daughter Taylor and son Nolan. They have a Labrador named Drew, and three cats; BJ, Fred and Daphne.

Jennifer Goodson, LVT

Jennifer was born and raised in Northern Idaho. She moved to the Seattle area in 1992, and attended The Art Institute of Seattle and PIMA Medical Institute to earn her degrees in photography and veterinary technology. Jen joined Companion Animal Hospital in 2002 as a Veterinary Technician, and challenged the national boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2005. Jen is currently a Lead Veterinary Technician, sharing these duties with fellow technicians Angie and Dana.

Jen lives in Seattle with her husband Marshall, daughter Lily, and her Mom. They have a dog, Dixie, and three cats, Tony, Milo and Lucy. In her spare time Jen enjoys running, as well as finding new playgrounds and trails for her family to explore.

Dana Burton, LVT

Dana was born in LaGrande, Oregon, but moved to the Seattle area when she was very young. She attended St. Louise, Sammamish High School and BCC, and joined Companion in 1998 in the Animal Care Department.

In February 1999 Dana joined the tech department as an assistant, and through continuing education and hard work, challenged the national boards in 2005 to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Dana became a Lead Technician in 2008, sharing those duties with Angie and Jen.  Dana lives in Renton with her husband Bob, sons Brad and Brody, and their dog Marley. In her free time Dana enjoys hiking and biking with her family.

Robin Bond LVT, Practice Manager

Robin has been with Companion Animal Hospital since Companion merged with Crossroads Veterinary Clinic to the current location in 1998. She was with Crossroads for 10 years prior as the Head Veterinary Technician. That same year she challenged the Washington State and National Boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

After the merge, Robin continued her role as Head Technician until 2003 when a back injury forced her to step down. Later that same year her love of veterinary medicine brought her back to Companion where she took on the challenging role of Practice Manager. In her free time you can find her camping at local rivers and lakes, or traveling around the U.S. and Mexico. Robin lives on the Eastside with her husband, Jason, their two cats, Rosie and Frankie, and a rescued Iguana named Izzy.

Lindsay Tinlin - Front Office Manager

Lindsay was born in Ellensburg, Washington, but grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Her family moved to the Seattle area when she was 11.  Lindsay attended Western Washington University, and joined Companion as a Front Office Associate in early 2007.  

Her excellent customer service skills and willingness to accept new challenges allowed her to move into the role of our new Front Office Manager in March 2008.  Lindsay loves music, and currently lives with her roommate and best friend in Seattle, with her two cats, Velcro and Augustus.

Jason Huggins,

Department Lead, Animal Care

Jason was born in Riverside, California, and moved to the Seattle area when he was 7 years old. He attended high school and college in Bellevue, and joined the animal care team at Companion in 2001.

In 2008 Jason took on the role of managing the animal care department. He loves animals and says getting paid to work with animals all day is an awesome privilege.

In his free time Jason enjoys mixed martial arts, video games and baseball. Jason lives in Kirkland with his girlfriend Meghan, their three cats, Simon, Sierra, and Bobby, and  dogs, Sherry and Milo.
